Patti Stanger meets her own match!

Patti Stanger, aka the “Millionaire Matchmaker,” is getting hitched! The straight-talking, reality star is engaged to beau Andy Friedman .

“I feel like it should have happened years ago, so I’m kind of shocked,” she told US Weekly magazine. Stanger, 48, said that Friedman, a 51-year-old real estate executive whom she met through a matchmaker five-and-a-half years ago, popped the question in Maui, Hawaii, on her May 31 birthday.

A black swan named Raymond delivered the 4-carat ring. “I have a rule, if you go out a year and he doesn’t propose, it goes up a carat a year,” she said. The Left Coast-based couple, who don’t live together, are planning for 2010 nuptials.

Ivanka Trump announces engagement on Twitter

It’s official: Ivanka Trump is off the market!

The 27-year-old real estate heiress announced her engagement to New York Observer owner Jared Kushner, 28, on Twitter Thursday.

“I got engaged last night ... truly the happiest day of my life!!!” Trump tweeted.

A rep for Kushner confirmed to Gawker that the Twitter post was real.

The couple, who are both the offspring of wealthy real estate families, have been dating for two years, but split briefly early last year, reportedly because of Ivanka not being Jewish.

But it seems the heiress is appeasing the Orthodox Kushners, and since the July 2008 reconciliation, has been reportedly studying to convert to Judaism under Rabbi Haskel Lookstein at Kehilath Jeshurun Synagogue on the upper East Side.

While rumors circulated that Donald Trump was not happy about his daughter’s choice due to Jared’s dad Charles Kushner’s 2005 stint in jail for violations of tax and campaign-finance laws, Trump tells Us Magazine, "I'm very happy about it. They make a magnificent couple."

And it seems Ivanka thinks they’re perfect together as well.

"Jared and I are very similar in that we're very ambitious. That's what makes it so amazing to be in a relationship with someone who is supportive of that," Trump told New York Magazine. "I'm happy for him when he is in the office working late. I know how good that feels when you sit down and return e-mails."

Hopefully they will take some time to turn off their BlackBerries and plan what will surely be an out-of-this-world wedding! (Source)

Celebrity Wedding News: Details of David Letterman's Surprise Wedding Revealed

The bride wore a navy blue suit and a peach-colored rose corsage. The groom was dressed neatly, despite the fact that his truck had gotten stuck in the mud on the way to the ceremony. When David Letterman and his longtime girlfriend, Regina Lasko, got married in Choteau, Mont., last Thursday, the simple ceremony came as a shock to onlookers.

"Seeing David was a surprise," says Lisa Sinton, Clerk of District Court in Teton County, who had met the famed talk show host several times before the nuptials. "They used a friend to call in to get the information about what they needed to do [to get married at the courthouse], so I really had no idea it was going to be David."

Letterman, 61, and Lasko, 48, quietly arrived – with their 5-year-old son Harry in tow – at the three-story Teton County Courthouse, which stands in the middle of Main Ave. in Choteau. There in the 103-year-old building, built of sandstone quarried from nearby Rattlesnake Butte and surrounded by fir trees, the couple filled out the license application.

Low-Key Nuptials

After Sinton issued the license, the pair – who live in a ranch on the outskirts of town – went upstairs to Justice of the Peace Pete Howard, who officiated the wedding. Letterman and Lasko selected their friends, Genevieve and Lee Barhaugh, to stand with them through the ceremony.

On Monday's Late Show, Letterman joked about his reluctance to marry. "I had avoided getting married pretty good for, like, 23 years," he said. But last week, the couple finally decided to walk the aisle.

"People say, 'Geez, Dave, you were together so long. Does it feel any different?'" Letterman said on the show. "And I say, 'Yeah. It does.' {Source: People}

Celebrity Engagement: Danny Masterson, Bijou Phillips Are Engaged

After 3 1/2 years of dating, Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips are engaged, his rep confirms to Usmgazine.com.

The former That '70s Show star, 33, popped the question on Saturday.

Phillips, 28, was coy when asked if a wedding was in the works.

"It's not a yes; it's not a no," she told Us last April. "It just sort of is, you know?"

The two, who appear in the upcoming indie Wake, also just shot two films together: Made for Each Other and The Bridge to Nowhere directed by Blair Underwood.

How do they balance work and romance?

"I don't know -- we just do," Phillips told Us.

The trick to staying together? Not blabbing about their relationship.

Asked if she had any love advice she told Us: "I wish I did. This is my hidden tip -- not talking."

The Wonder Years's Winnie Cooper is all grown up.

Danica McKellar, a mathematician and actress who played the beloved character on the hit TV show, tied the knot on Sunday with composer Mike Verta, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

McKellar, 34, and Verta, 36, exchanged vows in an ocean-side church at sunset in La Jolla, Calif., in front of 150 guests, including the bride's sister and maid of honor, Crystal McKellar, who played Becky Slater on The Wonder Years.

Also present were actors Dan Lauria and Allie Mills, who portrayed Kevin's (played by Fred Savage) parents on the show.

The bride wore a mermaid-style wedding gown and a tiara by Renee Strauss while the groom wore a tuxedo with tails and white gloves.

"We wanted an intimate, formal event," says McKellar, who walked down the aisle to wedding music composed by Verta and performed by members of the San Diego Symphony.

A reception followed at a private club, where guests enjoyed a sitdown dinner and dancing to a 10-piece band. The newlyweds danced their first dance to an original Sinatra-style love song written by Verta and performed by McKellar's uncle, Kim McKellar.

The couple started dating in 2001 and got engaged last August in Chicago.

McKellar, who graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a BS in mathematics in 1998, is the author of two books: Math Doesn't Suck and Kiss My Math. She has also appeared on many other television shows including The West Wing.
