Prince Albert's wedding

Apart from Prince William, there's another member of the European royalty who will get married this year.

Prince Albert II, the sovereign Prince of Monaco, will wed his girlfriend, Charlene Wittstock, a South African Olympian, this coming July in two ceremonies. The civil rites will be held on July 1, 2011 at the royal registry office while the lavish Catholic wedding ceremony will be held on the following day, July 2, 2011 at the main courtyard of the Palace of Monaco. Just like Prince William, Albert and his girlfriend announced that instead of receiving expensive gifts, guests may donate their gifts to charity they'd chosen.

Prince Albert will use two hybrid vehicles for the church ceremony, Lexus and BMW, which are both designed in elegant black livery to suit the occasion. His wedding, which is a state event, will be attended by most royal members in the world and foreign dignitaries because he is a reigning sovereign and head of state.
